Securing NDIS funding is just the first step in a long and often overwhelming journey for many families.
After receiving approval, Charlie, a 16-year-old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and his family found themselves unsure of how to make the most of his funding.
Charlie’s mother, Mel, said they knew they needed support coordination and plan management but had no idea where to start.
Turning to her local community for advice, Mel posted in a Facebook group asking for recommendations and among the responses, Allinto was suggested by multiple people.

“These are all services I could have found myself, but it would have taken a long time – time that I just don’t have,” Mel said.

It had been a very difficult year for us as a family due to Charlie’s struggles and her empathy and understanding eased the load immediately. She made the entire process smoother and more efficient.”
Tarrlita also introduced the family to a workforce support program and Charlie is now on a structured path towards employment.
“Finding employment had been a longstanding goal for Charlie, but until now, his disability had presented challenges in achieving this.”
